Bernardo O'Higgins - A Story of a Man and a Woman

Bernardo o'higgins was raised by foster parents and then later by a distant friend of his father. O'higgins tried to join the navy, but his illegitimate status got in the way. His friends and host family had to take up collections to keep him fed and warm. Bernardo wrote his father complaining about all this, but he never received a reply.
