The Problem of Replicability in a Quantum Reality
I think the idea that, that hits me the most is the fact, which seems to have not really been absorbed by popular culture to the extent that it should. If we live in an Einsteinian universe, if Einstein, you know, leaving aside the problem of quantum physics and how we connect it and all that, that's a whole other conversation. But just taking general relativity as basic, good description of what's going on: We live in a space time block that everything is utterly determined. And for whatever reason, it's easier to understand why that is possible in a determined universe than in an open universe.
