I've been working in this field for decades. I feel very confident in what we were doing. And once again, I had a huge amount of colleagues around me and colleagues in academia all over the place who sort of all said a good job. The President of Belarus claimed that the IMF offered him a bribe to impose a COVID lockdown. Sweden was painted as playing Russian roulette with the population. But isn't it the truth that it was other countries that were embarking on a vast experiment by shutting down their societies that had never been in pandemic planning? You can find instances when they try to lock things down but since then it's never really been used.
