Women were essentially positioned as the mechanics or the machines almost of reproduction during that transition from feudalism to capitalism. Any woman who was not going along with the program would be branded a witch and killed murdered I mean it was a genocide, so yes this is one of the reasons it's such a taboo subject anywhere something feels really taboo to talk about just suggest that there are really deep roots of pain, abuse, oppression, trauma that hasn't been fully processed and acknowledged you know.
