The Story of the Centurion
Each gospel author has a adapted or adjusted wording. But the meaning in luke and mark, to use the example of centurion, were different. There is no such thing as an objective report of the events because no literary representation can represent every single detail of what happened. So all history writing is already an interpretation by the fact that it's been processed through your brain. And so, in a way, there's, it somes like a trope that's developed of the centurion. He's the character who gets you to see at the end of the story what you should have seen along.
