A year ago, i praised en bogost's critique of bully and lamented the unfortunate lack of game criticism as distinct from game reviews. Bing kirk: I just thought it was interesting that it's come to be framed as this, you know, story versus game play. A lot of critics just enjoy, or perhaps, in my case, ah, enjoy is a strong word, but are captivated by his assertion at the beginning that there's this really big difference between reviews and criticism. And unfortunately, they're also linked gagate, which is tragic.
