The Kind of Friendship That Aristotle Calls Virtuous
Aristotle says the most important kind of friendship is what he calls virtuous friendship, or friendships of virtue. These friendships are stable because what is loved is art riht, the excellent character of the friend. So that's the kind of love that aristotle thinks essential to a happy life.
