Bondage to Karma in Buddhism

Buddhism's explanation of karma is called pratitya samut-pada, which means the interdependent origination of all the forms and phases of life. And there are twelve links, shall we say, in the chain of inter dependent origination constituting a circle. The existence of the circle depends on the presence of every one of the links. So going round and round and round in the endless game of hide and seek is from one point of view bondage, bondage to karma.
