What Happened to Liz Truss?

Liz Truss held power for 44 days in total before being forced to resign. Her failure is largely down to the fact that she actually did what she promised to do, which was deliver these tax cuts. The new government's astonishingly large tax cuts sparked a collapse in the pound and surge in government borrowing costs. It just became clear that this plan was completely untenable. She then blamed her Chancellor and close ally, Quasi Quatang. Today, I have asked Jeremy Hunt to become the new Chancellor. Ditched the entire plan. Parts of our mini budget went further and faster than markets were expecting. So the way we are delivering our mission right now has to change.
