Theology - What Is Scandal?
Theologically speaking, a scandal occurs when you say or do something that leads other people into sin. According to the catechism of the catholic church, scandal is an attitude or behaviour which leads another to do evil. The person who gives scandal becomes his neighbour's tempter and may even draw his brother into spiritual death. In romans, too, saint paul is addressing jewish people, in this case, jewish christians, who teach others about god but nevertheless cause those people to reject god because of their actions.

When unexplained phenomena arise, many Christians often leap to the explanation of demons being responsible or they warn that certain activities can open you up to demons. Jimmy Akin and Dom Bettinelli discuss the accuracy of these claims, how we can really find out when demons are involved, and what can go wrong when we incorrectly think it's demons.
