In France, no child is allowed to have a cell phone in the school. I can't even put into words how lucky I feel that I grew up without devices. At least you can give kids one place where they have eye contact and talk to each other. This is why the Chinese government has also severely restricted phones. It's not worth having a vile communist tyranny in order to ban phones and repress the Dalai Lama.
