The Complexity of the UK's Pre-Pandemic Prepareness
The IFG's policy brain was trying to map the different factors that go into policymaking, and that was equivalent of a complete mess. Some people have been arguing that it risks kind of confusing accountability lines of who's in charge. I think there's probably not so much of a risk of that because fundamentally, you know, ministers are going to be the people in the hot seats for a lot of what the final decisions were. But yeah, I'm not sure that it was sort of great for helping the public understand the decision-making process.
