A New Adhesive for Closing Wounds

Team mixed boric acid with a polime often found in school glue. The poleners alcohol units bond with boron atoms in the acid, creating an adhesive that dries into a strong film. But when water is present, the boron atom switch to bonding with water molecules instead, and the adhesive can be removed. They hope that the films can close human wounds too - even on child's delicate skin.
