Leadership Is a People Business

In the debrief, what kind of feedback did they give you? It was the platoon sergeant and it was from Mylon Marines. They were blunt but you know what, I needed that. That's an example of not leading, not from the front. As a leader, you have bigger fish to fry. Leadership is a people business. You need to know your people. And now by putting them in charge...that gives you bandwidth to focus on the bigger picture which is what your job is as a leader.
