A video from Jordan Peterson suggested that the dietary guidelines are really to blame for chronic disease. But do you feel in any way, shape or form the guidelines did not make clear enough what the replacement foods should be? So with the emphasis on eating less fat, was there clear enough recommendations as to what people should be eating instead? And if there were, and you're sort of happy with what those guidelines contained, is it just the food industry and the environment that sort of ended up shaping the way people were eating today? No, I don't think so. The idea that the guidelines are somehow going to dictate overnight what people eat is completely divorced from reality.
