What Does Joseph Smith Have to Do With Mormonism?

Joseph Smith in the 1800s was a prophet that got raised up to essentially give a new testament of the gospels. In the 1800s they believed that this teenager kid angel visited him or whatever and you know God used him to to essentially write this book of Mormon. Joseph Smith helped restore because a lot of things were lost but also he just didn't necessarily restore he wrote another testament  and so they consider him basically not a prophet.
