The State of Oklahoma Shouldn't Have Tribal Lands

After the treaty of newakota, about 50 years later, congress passed the major crimes act. It said that for certain very serious crimes committed in indian country, the federal government would have jurisdiction. So against that backdrop, right, it seems pretty clear that the state of oklahoma should not have jurisdiction in this case. But a majority of the court says that they do. Now i wish i could tell you what their reasoning was, but honestly, it's like, not very clear.
