How to Spook Fish in Low Clear Water

A stiffer tippet and a heavier tippet is going to be more sensitive to your, yeah, I don't know, amateurism in your drift because it's going to transfer more of the motion from your rod tip into the flies. So maybe you're getting away with a little bit more movement in your rod tip and play in your drift if you're fishing five or six X. In this low clear water, you don't have as many shots right there with the quality of your drifts are very high. Bill: Your ability to put a natural drift through a lane is not going to vary very much depending on how thick your tippet was.
