The Manish Peoples of Middle-Earth
The Manish peoples of Middle-Earth were very tall and warlike. They learned Sindarin to speak with the elves in their youth. Their features were so similar to some of the Eldar, that they were almost indistinguishable from the elves. And this caused the elves because it's kind of an emotional disturbance knowing that these people only lived so long and often were easy to die.
