Are You Bringing Up Threats?

Arthur Brooks is not saying don't bring up threats, right? So when you're talking about a 14 year old girl going out on the streets and running at night, that needs to be dealt with. But also to keep it in the proportion of this isn't necessarily the most dangerous thing in the world either. It's not a foregone conclusion that anything is going to happen to you negatively. More likely the worst thing happened to you if you're out at night by yourself as you can turn an ankle and have to figure out your way home if you don't have your phone. To me it's like controlling controllables to makerunning a part of your life.
