The Axeman's Death

Joseph Romano died two days later from severe head trauma. For those who were familiar with the Axeman's work, the Joseph Romano murder fit his end all perfectly. A panel in the back door had been chiseled away. The motive didn't appear to be robbery. And of course, there was the niece. Pauline Bruno had seen the intruder and so had her sister Mary. But, unfortunately, it was dark, and he was fleeing.
