Is Pence Protected by the Speechred Clause?
The speechred debate clause is a provision of the Constitution that basically says for any speechred debate, senators and representatives shall not be questioned in any other place. The question is, is Pence protected by this clause since he's not in fact a senator or a representative? And then if he is, are the things that he's, the special counsel wants to talk to him about, do they fall within the speech or debate provision of that clause? Maybe Eric will help us out on that.
