The Importance of Quantum Computing

In a future episode I'll talk to you about biology and one of the questions here is could we have quantum computers in our biology? And once again the big challenge is quantum coherence so you need to be able to preserve these very fragile states. It takes a very small quantum computer to just absolutely destroy a super powerful mega digital computer, so the implications of this are massive. The ability to simulate or to reenact a Naturally occurring phenomena is in some sense indistinguishable from that naturally occurring phenomena because you're making it up out of these naturally occurring atoms and so you can recreate Directly what is happening in your simulation.
