Plant Counting and Machine Learning

I was informed that I recently concluded the fourth year of joining a joint center. So yeah, time flies for sure. Is plant counting still one of the major challenges that you're working on and more broadly what are some of the various ways that you do use machine learning there? Yes. By no means it has been completely solved. There are always new challenges, new corner cases that people are asking us we can support this and that. We like to detect areas of images that show some particular texture, some particular pattern. And we also want to be able to detect anomalies, things that should not be there like weeds or hybrid plants. Like corn seed that didn't germinate previous years
