Zimbabwe: The Bread Basket of Africa
Zimbabwe is thought of as the bread basket of Africa. But in 2000, all hell broke loose on the country's farms when white farmers were driven from their land. The president realized that he was in danger of losing power and wanted to disenbowel commercial agriculture. He asked a group of farm workers to pray with him before they would take them off the land. "And this was the start of the heart surgery that I needed where God needed to just break me down," says Mugabe.
