There's this concept called social proof. The idea that what everybody else is doing is the right way to do things, and it can be helpful in a lot of situations. If you are eating with the fork and it's working and it's efficient and it makes sense, then keep doing it. You don't want to be a contrarion just for the sake of being a contrarions. But if what you're doing isn't working, even ifEverybody else is doing it, you might want to consider another path. This me with the job search. It also helped me as an ochbenor.
