The first thing you do if you want to achieve a marathon in under three and a half hours is go to the event space. Then what would you do before that? Well you'd probably have a good night's sleep. You'd probably train for the week leading up and eat healthily. So then you work okay well it's the immediate thing before that. And they don't need to be big meaningful steps but they're just like big obvious things. They can just be little steps along the way. That is the basics of goal setting.
