"I think why I got teary-eyed and some of these things was like the, I mean, I grew up in a Catholic church," he says. "They were just doing things like foot washing, ceremony or something." The idea of having the doors be open to people made him motivated for his new role as an actor. He adds: "Anyone that feels ostracized ... we can come back to it".
