Tesla will introduce front castings and structural battery packs at Gigafactory Berlin before the end of this year. These things of this size have never been mass produced before by anyone except Tesla in our Fremont and Shanghai factories. The question is, will those 4680 structural battery pack based model wise from Berlin be more off-menu, standard range, all-wheel drive versions? Or will there be proper long-range and or performance variants of the Model Y that are done on the 4680s and the structural pack? That is something I'm eager to learn the answer to.
