Christian Fathers - Is There a Theosis?
I've just been reading a bunch of Christian fathers now. It's kind of like when I'm going back and looking at old stuff to read. Like that whole Gregory Palama stuff, super fascinatingsuper interesting. In the Eastern tradition, the Eastern fathers have this concept of of Theosis or divinization. And what that means is basically that because Jesus Christ, God and man, God became man, came, died, varsens, you know, entered back into heaven. He opened up the path for man to become light God, to be divinized,. To sort of live in a way that's perfect and try to at least strive to.
