Is It a Shift in Form or Is It a Change in Content?

The excess of things available makes you feel more like a lacking subject in the face of it than when there were only three channels and two movies of the week on. There's just a saggy middle in every Netflix season of any of their shows it just seems to drag. Everything can kind of be like a conversation in a Tarantino movie which is interesting only if the conversation is interesting and so that ever interesting in a tarantino I think sometimes I'm not sure what "nitty gritty" means but this isn't about narrative stagnation.
