Are PMC Workers Committed to a Story of a Career?
In the 60s and 70s, people were writing about this new professional managerial class knowledge workers. They see themselves as future capitals owners, right? They don't see themselves as opposed to their companies. And I think what's happened is like the returns on that just aren't what they were like with the story we've inherited. The tragedy of our economy is that working class people and those GE laborers didn't actually get that new opportunity that I have. It depends if you're looking at Elon Musk's Twitter. There's that way going on there.
