How to Get a Higher P-Value in Scientific Journals

The p-value of a study is considered statistically significant if it's less than 0.05. The more things you look at, the less stringent the p-value test becomes and this can lead to error rates that are much higher in published studies. "P-hacking" occurs when people use statistical tests designed only to ask a simple question but broaden them for other purposes.
