Did You Learn Everything You Wanted to Learn About the Invocation of the Emergencies Act?
We learned far more from the text messages and documents that were filed than we did from the politicians. I didn't think that the government performed particularly very well in the testimony, except for the Prime Minister on the final day. This was one of the most effective times that I saw Justin Trudeau perform. He made a strong political case, it seems to me, for why the Emergencies Act should be invoked. They never made that case and they haven't given us the legal reasons for it.
