How Do You Evaluate Your Hypotheses?
The general rule that you will hear people say is start with five and then stop when you keep hearing the same things over and over again. So are you on purpose looking for contradictions or to confirm certain stories? Or do you treat them as completely different separate conversations? I encourage people to evaluate their ideas rather than to validate them. Be prepared to be wrong. Even be excited about the prospect of being wrong. And of learning something new, you'll know that your time has been well spent doing research.
