What if You Can't Remember a Whole Lot of Your Childhood?
What if we can't remember a whole lot of our childhood? And I want to answer this question on both the, you know, somebody who doesn't think about their childhood much so they just don't have a lot of memories that come top of mind. And also, what if somebody has repressed certain childhood memories? Is the fact that it's been repressed? Should that be an indicator that it was traumatic enough on its own? Possibly,. We don't like to do a lot of archaeology work because, again, as those neurons connect, they produce stress chemicals. So if you can't remember much of your childhood, start by creating brand new memories of the ideal childhood.
