This week a lecture about the economic history of the industrial revolution in the united states and great britain. In particular, we're going to talk about both the firearms industry as well as the typewriter. The idea of the assembly line was enacted in primitive forms in many small workshops and stuff. But when we consider that idea to day, we think of a system in which the production of a product is based upon different roups or individuals working on specialized proces.
