The Irony of Deliverance

Moses says the people as they're going like what does that even mean? Stand firm. And he says the Lord will fight for you. Now deliverance in the Hebrew can also be read as salvation. For them in this moment there was no way out. In faith I guess it was their only option. They were never going to have to actually fight but they were ready.
