Bodhicitta in Tantra

Bodhicitta is love, conscious love. That is the surface level translation. But in tantra, bodhicitta means sexual energy. This is why John, Jahanan, is in the river Jordan, in Yasod. Jahanan represents the pure, perfect, compassionate force of Christ which stands in the waters of life to baptize initiates who would become one with Christ. Baptism symbolizes that. And once that man is created, then Christ can descend into the river Jordan and be incarnated inside the soul - this is the baptism.
