The BMA's Industrial Action Vote of Junior Doctors

Junior doctors are also being balloted on industrial action. The BMA has been lobbying the government for pay restoration. It is calculated that junior doctors experienced a real terms pay cut of 26.1% between 2008, 2009 and 2021,. This is one of the biggest falls in pay for any public or private sector workforce.
