Your dark side.
Have you ever had a desire so perverse, so twisted that it almost had you scared?
“How could I think something like this”
We all have.
The difference is some own it, whereas others suppress it.
In this same way, we are living in constant suppression and repression of our core desires.
It’s gotten so convoluted to the point where we aren’t even aware of our core desires anymore, we merely live society’s desires.
We’re told to want what we want.
A nice job, a nice partner, good health, stability, security…boring.
Do you really believe you came to this earth for stability and security?
To stay in your comfort zone?
You know you were destined for more. Yet when you think about striving for more there’s this part of you that almost stops you dead in your tracks.
“What’s the point”
“Can I really even have this?”
Reflect on this.
When you were a kid, you never had any of these thoughts.
When you wanted a toy, you just asked for it.
You didn’t think: “What’s the point of asking” or “Can I really have this”.
You never doubted yourself, or your worthiness and deservingness of said toy.
So what happened?
How can you return back to that relentless self?
