Conscious Experiences

The real big problem here is that we can't even operationalize correctly what we mean by consciousness to even study. The kinds of conscious problems of consciousness that I'm interested in are not high-faluting things like self-awareness or you know high levels of consciousness some kind of metal levels of consciousness. These experiences that we have every day it turns out if you look at them very very closely you find mathematical patterns you can predict the kinds of experiences that you will have and so in that sense it's there's no deep mystery there in terms of the subject matter. It's in some sense the most close thing to every one of us everyday of our lives.
