Women's Liberation Through Wrap Meetings

Noel and Selma first met in 1972. They were both married at the time to men. One night they both ended up at a wrap meeting for women or as it's more commonly known now. Some groups were small grassroots meetings, most often between suburban housewives. The feminist scholar Joe Freeman described what went on at a wrap group this way.
