Jerry Drew and the Meredith's

Miss Cornelius and Mr. Sand return from their trip to Canada. They discuss the Meredith family, who have offended Mrs. Alec Davis of the harborhead. Jerry goes to a Methodist prayer meeting where he is met with fearful groans by old William Marsh. The doctor has spent three hours in his own bed since they've been home. Miss Cornelius says she saw nothing more beautiful than that in Europe.
