How to Read the Action in Long Bonds

Maggie, I'm glad you mentioned the time horizon on that one because a lot of times we talk short term, but you're looking at that one as a longer term. How do you read the action in long bonds? Tony: All the action seems to be in the front end of the curve reacting to whatever inflation impulse the bond market's getting right now. So that's why the front end is selling off a little bit more aggressively than the back end. That might mean that longer term yields can go up or stay sideways. But I just don't think that they're going very much lower if that's if that's a fair, if that was a fair view.
