It's unclear exactly who leaked the information. But in august two thousand two, the iranian ellicit nuclear programme went public. The international atomic energy agency demanded access to that facility at natans from iran. They saw that it was much further advanced than they expected from the satellite images. And then pressure was placed on iron by western countries in the united nations to halt the programme until they could obtain more formation about how far advanced the programe was.
