The Signs and Symptoms of Meningitis
Meningitis is the result of meningial inflammation and irritation. Ask about fevers, headache, neck stiffness,. photophobia, phonophobia, nausea, vomiting, focal neurological symptoms, and lethargy. Do they have tuberculosis risk factors or exposure history? Any insect exposures? Any recent head or neck surgeries?
