CCPA Enforcement Case Examples

California has a new version of their CCPA and they have a new enforcement agency called the California Privacy Protection Agency versus the Attorney General that was previously responsible for enforcing and overseeing CCPA. This new agency is now being more proactive on enforcements, I'll put a link in the show notes that is on their site,. So it's their CCPA enforcement case examples, and it just lists examples of them being proactive about making sure sites are compliant with state requirements. The majority of states will eventually have some type of opt in or opt out requirement for data collection.
