The Non-Sterile Skeptic Approach to Knowledge

If you think that you can't know anything for sure, then there's no point in seeking truth at all. That's the essence of critical thinking and understanding the modern sense of the word. I often make this point that philosophy makes a progress in a somewhat parallel and yet somewhat different way from what science does. Cop-up are famously said that science makes progress by eliminating the wrong hypothesis. In philosophy, we make progress in the same way by eliminating bad ideas, but that progress is done through conceptual and logical analysis.
