In terms of saying something, I wouldn't say anything in the beginning when I'm first working on this. It's better just let your shoulders drop, finding that exhale in yourself. If your child makes eye contact, just nod your head. And then later when you are more practiced at this, sometimes words will come out that are always going to be in agreement with what your child is saying. Agreements with their right to say it. Just mirroring what they're saying and trying not to talk for any other reason.
